Congratulations to STIR lab student Xavier Caddle on passing his Qualifying Review (QR) for Ph.D. in Computer Science this Fall! The Qualifying Review is the first milestone in the Ph.D. program in which the Graduate Committee evaluates the research and coursework progress of the student. Caddle continues to work on his dissertation research at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction, underprivileged youth, and online safety to complete the subsequent milestone, the Candidacy Examination. The STIR Lab wishes Caddle the best as he continues his research.
