Alsoubai Joins KAU

Congratulations to our recent PhD graduate, Dr. Ashwaq Alsoubai, on returning to Saudi Arabia and accepting a tenure-track Assistant Professor position at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. Dr. Alsoubai’s dedication and hard work have been exemplary throughout her academic journey, and we are confident she will continue to make significant contributions to the field. We wish Dr. Alsoubai all the best in her new role and look forward to seeing her future achievements and impact on the academic community in Saudi Arabia.

Park Heading to Clemson

Congratulations to our postdoctoral fellow, Dr. Jinkyung (Katie) Park, on accepting a tenure-track Assistant Professor position at the School of Computing at Clemson University, starting in Fall 2024. Dr. Park’s outstanding research and dedication have been an inspiration to us all, and we are excited to see her continue to excel in her academic career. We are deeply grateful for all her efforts during her time at our lab and wish her continued success in her new role.

NYIT Welcomes Akter

Congratulations to our recent PhD graduate, Dr. Mamtaj Akter, who has secured a tenure-track Assistant Professor role in the Computer Science Department at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), beginning in Fall 2024. Dr. Akter’s unwavering dedication throughout her academic journey has set a high standard.
