Qadir leads seminar at LIVE

Congratulations Ph.D. Student Sarvech Qadir on conducting a seminar on “Mastering Statistical Analysis and Visualization using JASP” at Vanderbilt LIVE Summer Research Program. In this session, participants learned how to use JASP, a free and open-source statistical software program that can be used to import data from a variety of sources, including CSV files and Excel spreadsheets. Once data is imported, JASP can be used to create plots, run statistical tests, and interpret the results of those tests. JASP offers a variety of statistical tests, including t-tests, ANOVAs, and regressions. Participants in this session were also taught about the detailed understanding of each of the statistical tests offered by JASP. They were also taught how to visualize the results of these tests using JASP’s built-in plotting tools and functions.
