Congratulations to Dr. Wisniewski and co-authors (Turki Alelyani, Arup Kumar Ghosh, Larry Moralez, Shion Guha) for publishing a chapter in recently released book, “Young People and Social Media: Contemporary Children’s Digital Culture”. The book covers a vast array of ideas about youth, their social media use, and how their physical lives are impacted by social media. It includes ideas and findings shared by scholars from many different disciplines including anthropology, psychology, sociology, medicine, etc.
Dr. Wisniewski’s chapter is about “Examining Parent Versus Child Reviews of Parental Control Apps on Google Play” which is based on an analysis and comparison of children’s and their parents’ reviews posted online for 52 parental control apps on Play store.
