Class of 2020 – Timothy

As our spring semester comes to a close here at the STIR Lab, it’s time to bid farewell to our graduating students in the Class of 2020. One of our undergraduates, Timothy Dinh, has accomplished his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Information Technology. As Tim begins his future career pursuits, he took some time to share his thoughts about the three years he’s spent with the lab:

STIR Lab Class of 2020 Undergraduate Student, Timothy Dinh

“Being a part of both the STIR lab and iUXAcademy has helped me grow academically, professionally, and personally. Over the three years I was here through the FLIT-Path program, I was constantly surrounded by people who were more talented and hardworking than me. Environments like these are perfect for learning opportunities for students, and I’m happy to see the lab expand as more students come in.

Mostly, I cannot emphasize enough how fortunate I was to be mentored by both Dr. Pamela Wisniewski and Karla Badillo-Urquiola. With mentors that notice even the slightest discomfort when faced with a challenge, and push me to overcome it, I can wholeheartedly say that I am thankful for them helping me grow and make my college experience meaningful.

After graduation now, I’m going into the job market with interest in a UX researcher position, and I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned from my time at the lab.”

Dr. Wisniewski and the STIR Lab wish Timothy, and all our graduating students in the class of 2020 the best of luck in achieving their future career goals!
